Being your Authentic Self…

Hey all,

These last few week I have made a few decisions, well no I guess every day we make many decisions. What to wear, eat, how to respond to people throughout the day and many others.  In particular I had to make decisions that would help me start moving on, it was hard as hell but I can not grow to become who I am meant to be if I do not make certain choices.

As always I keep it real with you all, Sunday I ate all day and then ended my night with Taco Bell as I do many nights because when you feel like crap about yourself you usually eat a bunch of crap. Am I alone in that thought process? Anyways as I went through the drive through, I said as I say so many Sunday’s; tomorrow I take care of myself! Well ladies and gents I did so, woke up and went to the gym and ate on point each day since.

It really is amazing how great I feel, it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. The BIG 30 is in 3 months and 2 days no more time to play. Now I’m no longer a numbers person (mainly because I refuse to see the damage these past four months have done to me) but I’m going to have outfit goals , I have quite a few cute ones I would like to wear by my birthday.  I literally have gotten to the point I feel like fat Albert but in a lighter skinned, woman version.

To be your true authentic self you need to love yourself, I am a work in progress. I don’t love myself now but I like myself a lot more as each day passes. To me being healthy and fit is one of my top ways to love myself, I was happiest when I felt my best. Someone else may love themselves based on other reasoning’s & that is awesome.

Point is, I am on the journey to self love and finding out who I am. Who else is in?
